Walter VALENTINI – Memory

The web section “Installations” has been updated adding the art work Memoria / Memory by the Italian artist Walter Valentini.

It is a bronze war memorial installed within Saint Ambrose square in Milan (Italy), designed and modeled by the artist. For the realization of this monument, Lino Reduzzi held the role of project manager and, together with the artist, he also curated the techincal realization of the sculpture and its installation. The art work was donated by Dr. Letterio “Lillo” Mangano in memory of the fallen soldiers of the Vicenza Division (Russian Campaign 1941-1943, whose he was a survivor) and those fallen for Italy both in war and peace.

Walter VALENTINI – Celestial path

The web section “Installations” has been updated adding the art work Percorso celeste / Celestial path by the Italian artist Walter Valentini.

It is a 200 square meters Venetian terrazzo floor designed by Walter Valentini and realized by Lino Reduzzi in 2002. In addition to the traditional Venetian flooring technique, this art work was realized with monolithic marble and bronze inserts as decided with the artist. The entire work was directly realized in situ under the artistic supervision of Valentini. The surface was finally polished and adequately treated.

Today we inaugurate the web section “Mosaics” publishing the art work Viaggio / Travel by the Italian artist Walter Valentini.

The project consists in a large wall mosaic and a related stretch of water designed by Walter Valentini and realized by Lino Reduzzi. The mosaic was made with marble, Venetian smalto and gold tesserae. The tridimensional parts that enhance the installation were appropriately produced, covered with mosaics and finally installed.
